Filter Perlite

FILTER PERLITE (MICRONIZED PERFILE)

Perlite provides thousands of microscopic channels with unique notches and interlocks, providing the best flow rate and clarity for many different uses. Perlite filter aids do not spoil the taste, color and odor of the filtered liquids and they do not really melt as mineral and organic acids at all levels.

COST ADVANTAGE

Perlite filter aids offer the user a 20-50% more density advantage than other filter aids, which will significantly affect costs. The density of perlite filter auxiliaries is only 110 to 270 kg / m3 (7/17 lb / ft3). The dry density of perlite filter aids ranges from 100 to 200 kg / m3 (6/12 lb / ft3). Experience in many different uses in many industrial areas has shown that filter aids users can significantly reduce their filtration costs by converting them into perlite filter aids without sacrificing efficiency.

AVAILABILITY WITH STANDARD EQUIPMENT

Perlite filter aids can be used with both pressurized and vacuum filtration equipment instead of only filter aids at hand. Filtration researches conducted in facilities or laboratories will enable the selection of the most suitable filter aid and the required dosage. Perlite filter aid manufacturers have extensive experience in different filter applications. In particular, if perlite filter aids are used with rotary vacuum filters, the filter pulps show less cracking than other filter aids are used.

HIGH FLOW RATES

Due to their unique physical structure, perlite filter aids offer higher flow rates with the most perfect clarity. They can be applied in particular in high viscosity liquids such as syrups or gelatinous slurries. Efficiency, clarity and flow rates can be increased by using perlite filter aids.

DIVERSITY ACCORDING TO ALL DIFFERENT DEGREES

Perlite filter aids are produced in a variety of different grades in order to meet the flow rates and clarity requirements required for use in almost every industry.

EASY WASTE DISCHARGE

Since they remain porous and do not tighten, perlite filter aids allow the pulp wastes to be easily removed after the filtration process is completed. This not only ensures filter cleaning, it also reduces the need for manpower and thus increases efficiency. Perlite filter aids offer 20-50% more density than other filter aids.

INERT-CODEX (WASTE MATERIALS LAW) APPROVED

Perlite filter aids are frequently used for filtering liquids in the beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries. They do not spoil the taste, color or smell and are listed in the US Food Chemicals Code (U.S. Food Chemicals Codex) published by the National Science Academy. This publication, which is the source of information on the quality and purity of foodstuffs, is officially recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration, FDA, and has been adopted by the relevant authorities of many countries around the world.

USE OF FILTER PERLITE WASTE AS ANIMAL FEED

One of the unique benefits of perlite filter aids in food processing for manufacturers is the use of wasted filter cake as animal feed in many countries of the world. This also reduces the disposal costs of the wasted filter cake. In the USA, this practice has also been approved by the American Feed Control Official Authorities Association (AAFCO).

AVAILABILITY AROUND THE WORLD

It is possible to find perlite filter aids all over the world. All manufacturers who want to use this product can easily obtain it in packaged bags or in bulk.

In the last 30 years, perlite filter aids have been accepted by almost all industries for the separation of liquids and solids. The following list shows many applications where perlite filter aids are used, although not all of them are included.
